A kertvárosi hangulatú utcában álló négyfoglalkoztatós bölcsőde a legkisebbek ellátására szolgál. Az építészeti vezérgondolat ennélfogva olyan téri dimenziók megtartásán alapult, melyekben az otthonosságélmény a kisdedek számára is megragadható. A magastetős, tornáccal kísért bölcsőde archetipikus, a tudatalattink épületsémáira rezonál, miközben korszerű eszközökkel Budakalász sajátos építészeti identitását, egy közösség kultúráját közvetíti. Az épület gerincét alkotó, kívül-belül ritmikusan hullámzó közlekedő egy gyermek léptékű utca, mely színeiben, a beékelődő (eredetileg sószobának szánt) gubók lágy formáiban, anyaghasználatában és fényviszonyaiban is a befogadó jelleget hivatott erősíteni, csakúgy, mint a barlangszerű, letört sarkokkal kialakított csoportszobák. Az egész épületet az organikus, ritmikus rendre, valamint a növekedés, a változás harmonikus kifejezésére irányuló formaalkotó törekvések jellemzik. Az ingergazdag, természetes anyaghasználatú belső térben feltűnőek a különleges színhatások, a mályva és a napsárga nem csupán esztétikai célt szolgál, hanem facilitáló erejű, a valóság átélését segítő sajátos eszköz.

Located in a suburban street, the nursery boasts four playrooms to serve the youngest. Considering the building's purpose, the main idea driving its design, created in cooperation with Bálint Terdik, was to create dimensions that provide a sense of familiarity to toddlers. The traditional longhouse, fashioned with a high roof and a porch on one side, resonates with the archetypal building schemes of our subconscious, while also conveying the unique architectural identity of Budakalász. At the same time, it has a playful and cozy outlook, thanks to the twin gable of the main facade and the sturdy chimney, familiar from children's drawings, that is in sharp contrast with the clear-cut glass portal of the green-roofed corridor. Shaped as a child-sized street, the backbone of the building is the corridor. With its mellow tones, friendly materials and pleasant lights, its cavernous playrooms and the soft shapes of the cocoons, wedged in here and there and originally intended as salt rooms, it is intended to make the environment even more welcoming. The entire building is characterized by the effort to achieve an organic order and the harmonious expression of growth and change. Exceptional color effects have been applied to the interior, which is rich in stimulating details and natural materials. Beyond the aesthetic purposes, the mauve and the sunshine yellow facilitate the proces of internalizing reality. Even though the building is determined by the genius loci, it is entirely modern as well. In contrast with most other nurseries, which tend to be angular, monotonous and overly simplistic, this is an attractive and intriguing building, relaying the message that homo ludens needs adventure rather than order and discipline.
