A telepítés alapötletét a Dunára néző kilátás és a meglévő növényzet adta: az eredeti terepből csak a lakószobák emelkednek ki, minden egyéb szinte észrevétlenül kúszik be alá. A zöldtető felett kilátás adódik a folyóra, a diszkréten megbújó nappali déli tájolását üvegfal biztosítja. Az épület a passzív ökológiai gondolkodás mintapéldája: a hőcsapdaként működő nappali télen napfényben fürdik, míg nyáron az eresz árnyékolja. A zöldtető és a kővel burkolt vastag falak szükségtelenné teszik a ma oly divatos klímaszabályzó gépészeti megoldásokat. A homlokzatokon a helyi kő, a tégla és a faburkolatok egymásba úsztatása dominál, míves részletképzésekkel.

The design was inspired by the view on the Danube and the vegetation. Only the living spaces rise above the terrain; everything else is sunk into the ground. The panorama opens to the river above the green roof, and the livingroom is closed off with a glass wall to the south, to let in more sunlight. The building is a model of passive ecological thinking the living room acts as a heat trap in winter, bathing in the sun, but is shaded by the eaves in summer. The green roof and the thick stone cladded walls make it unnecessary to use artificial and energy-consuming solutions. The intricately detailed facades are dominated by smooth transitions between local stone, brick and wood paneling.
