Pál Gerzson began his career as a painter in the mid-1950s and finished in 2008. His work, which spanned almost six decades, produced a vast body of work, including not only dominant panel paintings (as well as watercolours and prints) but also works that were composed for specific spaces, placed in communal spaces, and therefore never exhibited in the exhibition halls.
