Ágnes Herczeg obtained her degree as a certified landscape architect in 1984 at the Budapesti Kertészeti Egyetem (Budapest University of Horticulture). At that time – apart from the little-known activities of a few distinguished predecessors – landscape architecture in Hungary was almost entirely unknown to the wider public. Neither as a concept nor as a profession.

Mőcsényi Mihály Award

Lifetime achievement award granted in recognition of at least fifteen years of outstanding individual work in landscape architecture, teaching, and policy-shaping activities, for those who have carried out or carry out their work in the spirit of Mihály Mőcsényi.
