“Close to Bach” – the very motto he himself once envisioned – is perhaps the most fitting way to describe the main trajectory of Salamon Kamp’s life and career. With this eloquent title, he launched in the 2000s an educational concert series through which he brought the music of Johann Sebastian Bach – together with his choir, the Lutheránia – to unconventional venues, such as Budapest high schools.
