Outstanding Artist of Hungary
One of the most prestigious Hungarian state awards for the arts. The recipient is entitled to the title “Outstanding Artist of Hungary” (short: “Outstanding Artist”). Only those who already hold the Meritorious Artist award and have held it for at least five years are eligible.

State award for artists who have long created outstanding artistic achievements in Hungarian national culture and in the fields of theatre, music, dance, circus arts, film, fine arts, photography, and applied arts, and who have already received an art award granted by the minister responsible for culture.
