In connection with Ernő Fóth’s first exhibition, opened in 1965 at the Mednyánszky Szalon by Sándor Weöres, Rezső Szíj wrote in Alföld: “He is one of those young artists who stand on the boundary between Surrealism and non-figurative art, for whom colour is their element, their sole means of image-making.
