Gyula Istvánfi’s half-century-long career as an educator, architect, researcher, and writer is deeply rooted in the fields of architectural history and heritage preservation. Throughout nearly his entire professional life, his workplace was the Department of History of Architecture and Monument Preservation at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME).
